ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?
Who will this year’s champion be? Anyone can pull off one good dish but can your team make it through 3 rounds of fast-pace food prep without being “Sliced” from the competition! Your mission if you should choose to accept, is to prepare 3 meals for a family of four that are delicious, nutritious & stays within the daily budget of a local low-income family!

- Registration opens February 1, 20 19 and closed March 17, 2019

Team Rules
- Teams cannot be smaller than 2 nor larger than 5 people
- Each team must have at least 1 adult
- Recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner must be submitted by 3/1/19
- Each team will have a budget of $25 for all 3 meals with serving size of 4
- All ingredients listed on team’s recipes will be provided day of the event
- Teams will be provided basic cooking utensils such as knives, spoons, measuring cups, etc
- There will be 3 rounds:
- 1st round will be breakfast – teams will have 20 minutes to prep, cook and plate for judges
- 2nd round will be lunch – teams will have 20 minutes to prep, cook and plate for judges
- 3rd round will be dinner – teams will have 30 minutes to prep, cook and plate for judge
- Teams will be judged on taste, nutrition, presentation and budget: 30 points – taste, 30 points – nutrition, 30 points – budget (1 point added for every $1 under the $25 budget; 1 point deducted for every $1 over the $25 budget), 10 points – presentation. Total of 100 points plus up to 25 budget bonus points.
- Nutrition grade will be provided by our Nutritional Analyst which will be provided to teams
